About Local Group 49

Amnesty International Rhode Island is composed of the Amnesty International local and student groups, and individual members, who reside in the state of Rhode Island. Forming a vital part of Amnesty International USA's grassroots movement, we work together to achieve Amnesty International's mission through taking action on issues related to Amnesty International's campaigns and human rights issues therein. Amnesty International Rhode Island has seven groups, working in high schools, colleges, and communities across the state, under the leadership of our Student Area Coordinator and Legislative Coordinator. We hope you will join us and become a part of the Amnesty International Rhode Island movement! To learn more and to access our newsletters, please visit http://www.amnestyri.org
